Beer Me Brewery in Eastbourne.
Beer me brewery, is the creation of Greg Corona & Stephane Larruat.
Both Born in France and well traveled our destiny brought us to Eastbourne where we both settled. We met at work in 2005 and remained colleagues for about three years while working for the famous restaurant chain Cafe Belge.
About 3 years later we became business partner when we bought the restaurant we were working for and renamed it The Belgian cafe.
After winning several awards (such as Eastbourne Best Restaurant), we got hit by the 2009 Recession.
In a worry to maintain a high standard of service while the recession was causing supply issues importing Belgian beer for the restaurant, we took the decision to start our very own microbrewery.
Our new venture started with Brewing training in Belgian followed by some more training in the north England . In 2014 we came up with our very own method for mixing the best of Belgian and British brewing methods, Beer Me Brewery was born….
Today we are brewing a range of 15 different and seasonal Craft beers, ranging from classic Belgian blonde and Ipa to more complex styles such as tripple’s and Dubbel and also a selection of fruit style beers.
In 2017 we opened Eastbourne’s first Taproom named ‘Soup N Tap’ where we are supply our extensive range of beers on tap. You can also find all our beers at The Belgian Cafe (home of Beer me Brewery) .
The brewery being located just underneath The restaurant you can sample all our beers or be taken for a tour of the Brewery.
We keep investing in our Team and Belgian cafe and Soup N tap are now owned and run by our staff.
Our first brewer was Damian Dudon, whos has now opened is own brewery in France . The current Brewer has remained the same for the last 4 years and brought a German touch to our Beers, thank you mister Steven
